Technical knowledge of production of Asphaltene Precipitation Inhibitors is currently only available to limited companies in the world. Given the oil fields that have asphaltene precipitation problem in the country and also the high cost of international suppliers justifies producing an inhibitor of such. The other added value to the domestic production is development of technical knowlede and know-how, and further R&D practice for quality enhancement.
In recent years, an asphalthene inhibitor was developed based on considearble laborotry experiments and presented with the patent number of 70680 specified as IR95 brand. The material demostrated reduction in asphaltene precipitation when tested versus Iranian crudes at low concentrations and has shown equal standard performance in comparison to the international products. The inhibitor has acheived the distinguished award of the 25th Khawrazmi International Festival and also the Award of the World Association of Industrial and Technology Research (WAITRO).
۲٫Wax Inhibitor (IR83)
Technical knowledge of production of Wax Precipitation Inhibitors is currently only available to limited companies in the world. Given the oil fields that have wax precipitation problem in the country and also the high cost of preparation (as that of asphalthene inhibitor) of international suppliers justifies producing an inhibitor of such. The same concept of added value as for asphalthene inhibitor applies here as well in that the development of technical knowlede and know-how and further R&D practice for quality enhancement will be established.
The wax inhibotor is being produced under the patent number of 70679 and specified as IR83 brand. The material has been extensively tested versus Iranian crudes at low concentrations, which has shown has shown equal standard performance in comparison to the international products.
